Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager injured.
APD said Tuesday night at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person with a gunshot wound arriving at Grady Hospital in a private vehicle.

When officers arrived at the hospital, they located a 19-year-old male victim who had been shot.
Police said the victim was alert, conscious and breathing.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was shot at 2405 Fairburn Rd SW, which is the location of the Ben Hill Recreation Center.
Police said he was near the basketball courts when he was hit by gunfire from a vehicle in the parking lot.
