He not only did Adam Duvall complete the boston red sox‘ comeback against baltimore orioles on Saturday with a walk-off home run in the ninth inning, he also made MLB history in two different ways.

After the Orioles missed on a potential fly ball to left hit by Masataka Yoshida to end the game, Duvall came to the plate with two outs and needed a single to complete the loop.

But he ended the game instead with a home run that barely cleared the Green Monster, giving the Red Sox a dramatic 9-8 win at Fenway Park after losing 7-1 earlier in the afternoon.

Duvall became the first player in MLB history to accomplish the following feats:

Duvall was signed by the Red Sox as a free agent in January after he spent most of the last five seasons with the atlanta bravesincluding a World Series title in 2021.
