AEW goes “All In” with its first UK show.

AEW will make its UK debut with an event at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday 27 August. The show, to be called AEW: Everything in LondonIt will mark the first time Wembley Stadium has hosted professional wrestling since WWE SummerSlam 1992.

AEW owner Tony Khan made the announcement on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.

“The UK is one of the biggest markets in professional wrestling, and AEW is becoming the number one wrestling company in the UK on television,” Khan said. said in a press release. “We want our London debut to be on an epic scale, and there is no better place than Wembley Stadium to host what I know will be one of the greatest events in AEW history.”

With Wembley Stadium seating 90,000, this will be the most ambitious event AEW has ever produced. AEW’s current attendance record is 20,177, for the Dynamite Grand Slam event at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City in 2021.

WWE announced an attendance of 80,355 people for SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley Stadium.

The name All In occupies an important place in the history of professional wrestling. In 2018, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, and Kenny Omega self-promoted the inaugural All In pay-per-view. It drew over 10,000 fans, becoming the first non-WWE show in the United States to do so since WCW closed its doors. The success of the show contributed to the launch of AEW in 2019.

Tickets for All In London will go on sale on Friday 5th May.

Wednesday was a newsworthy night for AEW and it was also announced that former NJPW star Jay White has signed with the company.
