Bosu Ball Balance Exercises : Bosu Ball Running Transitions

Okay, so now we got the basics down, I’m just
having some stability on the Bosu. Now what you want to do is you want to make those transitions
fast while you’re on the Bosu. So, it’s going to look like this. What you want to do is
try to do, this is what I do when I first started. I always try to do twenty in a row.
And maybe that goal might be a little bit high, so let’s just even go for ten. You want
to do ten transitions in a row. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine,
ten. Hold it there. Use the power of your legs, belly button’s in the spine, hold it
there, take some deep breaths, and then maybe go for another ten more. One, two, three,
four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Whew! One thing that you have to bear with
the Bosu, not necessarily graceful, but you don’t want to injure yourself. So, I’m going
to show you a good way to kind of like fall off the Bosu. So you’re just doing it, you’re
going, going, put your feet together and jump off like that, and you can do that when you
feel yourself falling. You can jump to the side, you just want to come off, land on both
feet and not twist the ankle. That is very important when you’re working on the Bosu,
to maintain that control, pull that belly button to spine and always know where you
are.
