Last week, Jones, 27, and Pearson, 28, along with fellow Democrat Gloria Johnson, 60, walked in front of the chamber in solidarity with protesters gathered on the House veranda. Ms. Johnson stood next to Mr. Jones and Mr. Pearson as they led the chants from the lectern on the Chamber floor through a megaphone.
