Now we are going to work on his later movements
so what we are going to do is the karaoke. What it does again is warms up the groin area,
a lot of abductors of the body that sometimes get neglected when it comes to warming up.
So go ahead and go through it slowly and he is going to twist over and back and twist
over and back and twist over and back. Now go ahead and go through it at a regular pace
and you can see how he really gets that leg over and what he is doing is it is great footwork
it is going to keep him balanced but at the same time it is still a warm up and it is
still part of the work out. Now go ahead and go through a more traditional karaoke and
this goes without necessarily jerking the foot as high over as he did the first time
which is a little bit more advanced. Go ahead and come through regular speed and you see
he is really twisting the torso and now he is not cranking and he is not doing it on
cold muscles so what he is doing is he is still staying warm, he is still getting himself
ready for game time. This is a great pre-game warm up because a lot of guys, and he plays
in the secondary as a DB it depends on body motion. It depends on twist and core exercise
is a great place that exposes a lot of athletes for being weaker than some others so really
what you want to do is keep it strong and keep it flexible.
