F45 8 Week Challenge – Lisa’s Story

I had a go. I have never done anything like that before. So it was daunting starting. But I just thought I’d give it a go. I did the eight-week Challenge because I felt like I needed to do something. I wanted to get fit. I wanted to tone up, lose a bit of weight, that after having two kids I hadn’t gotten around to doing anything. So I decided to try it. Coming through the doors was a little bit daunting and it’s like, okay let’s start. It was my birthday. I started on my birthday and I thought, okay I needed to do something. What do I want for a birthday present and
said let’s get a gym membership. And that I think that was my turning
point. I went, right I’ve got to do something. Let’s just do it. It was just,
turning something on that said, Let’s Go! Afterwards, I think I was doing it a few weeks before the Challenge started, I started to feel good before the Challenge. I could see some little results happening just with doing the training. Then obviously starting the 8-week Challenge there were more results, with the food and training combination. At the beginning when I was looking at
it I’m like, oh how am I gonna get here, get the kids to school, get to work. But then when I started and I had my routine I was getting up very early and
I didn’t think I could do that. But in the end I found out that I could and I really enjoyed it. Getting up the early times to get myself here and be able to get home and getting the kids off to school and get myself to work all in a timely manner, it works well. I’ve never really been someone big diets or follows a meal plan so I was a be daunted by the fact that I
was going to follow a meal plan. But I think the meal plans were easy to follow and were delicious. So that was a good thing as well. Just do it. It feels good. (individual results may vary)
