A Fayetteville woman is accused of selling nude photographs of herself and a child “engaged in sexual activity,” according to an arrest warrant.
Jessica Rene Barker, 26, was arrested at her Blue Street apartment Wednesday afternoon on a charge of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the arrest report said.
According to a probable cause affidavit, it is alleged that on June 24, Barker was engaged in a conversation on a social media chat application when she allegedly sent another user a photograph of a 3-year-old boy “naked from the waist down (and) laying on a naked adult female grasping the female’s breast.” The woman in the photo is alleged to be Barker, the record states.
“Both parties in the chat also indicate that the image is sent for sexual purposes,” the affidavit said.

The chat log, which was included with the affidavit, allegedly shows Barker messaging another person, “I need that hundred first then I’ll send you the picture I just took of me naked next to him.”
Eleven minutes later, according to the chat log, a second message states the photo wouldn’t sent until she got the money for “exploiting” the child. The affidavit states the information was provided to the Fayetteville Police Department on July 5 by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Barker was booked into the Cumberland County jail with bail set at $10,000, according to jail records.
