Two people detained by police took “concealed carry” to a new level, Mississippi authorities said.
Officers found a handgun hidden inside a folded Taco Bell quesadilla, police said.
A man in the passenger seat he put the gun inside the quesadilla shortly before its discovery during a traffic stop the afternoon of April 14 in Picayune, according to the Picayune Police Department.
In addition to the weapon, officers found methamphetamine, liquid heroin and drug paraphernalia while searching the car, police said in an April 15 news release shared on Facebook.
The man was arrested on charges including possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of paraphernalia. , according to the authorities.

The woman driving the car was cited for ignoring a traffic device and released, police said.
