How to Do an Inversion Table Workout : How to Get On an Inversion Table

Welcome to Expert Village, my name is Dr.
Ed Riffel. In this clip we’re going to talk about how to get on the machine, how to safely
get on it, and there’s some adjustments with this particular Hang Ups unit. One of the
first things you want to do, there’s some increments here and you want to check your
height and weight in there, and then you want to release this clip. Make sure it’s attached,
safety first, make sure it’s attached so it can’t move. Then of course, you want to put
your belt on here if you’re using if you’re using it for the first time. You want to make
sure that’s clipped, safe. You want to make sure these are in place. Then, when you step
into it, you straddle first. You open this clip here, it’s got a spring-loaded clip,
and then you just step into it. You drop the clip down, make sure it’s firmly clipped;
you want to make sure and hear some clicks in there so it’s holding in firm. Then you
would lean back, and you don’t want it to flop all the way over, you just want to go
back. Make sure that you can go; using your hands you should be able to control the movement.

  1. You always seem to flip very rapidly at first and then get it under control. I would like to see some super-slow inverting done in slow motion like yoga or something, I bet it cold be beautiful.
