How to Do Kettlebell Deadlifts | Sleek/Strong With Rachel Cosgrove

This is Rachel Cosgrove for Sleek/Strong.
Today, we’re going to talk about the deadlight. Don’t let the name fool you. This is one of
the most beneficial exercises for women. Adding this exercise to your routine is going to
help you burn more fat. What’s more, you’re not going to hurt your back anymore by lifting
up your laundry basket, or lifting up your child. This exercise is going to help you
with the daily stressors of life. So get two dumbbells or two kettlebells. Place them right
in front of your toes. You’re going to start with a nice tall posture, core’s nice and
tight and you’re going to go ahead and bend straight down. Now, as you get down to grab
ahold of those dumbbells or kettlebells, your hips are going to be slightly higher than
your knees, and your back is going to be nice and flat. I don’t want to see a rounded back
like this. Nice flat back. Grab ahold of the dumbbells or kettlebells and you’re basically
going to shave your legs, as you come up. Keep those right in close to your body. Stand
straight up, shoulders back, head in a straight line. And then lower, right along your body,
all the way back down to the floor. You’re going to go ahead and perform 10 repetitions.
As it gets easier, make sure you increase the load. Adding this exercise to workout
is going to make your whole body feel better. This is Rachel Cosgrove for Sleek/Strong.
