Incline Bench Press for Beginners


hi I’m Tom Holland Bowflex Fitness advisor this is inclined bench press for beginners so if you’re just starting out and you’re just learning how to do the bench press there are a couple of different ways to do a bench press this one we do it an incline so you’ll see Ryan he’s going to grab some weights first rule of thumb with any exercise but especially with the bench press because the weights are going to be a little heavier you want to make sure you choose a weight that you can use and control so Ryan is going to lie back again the bench is at an incline and he’s going to do 10 to 15 repetitions where the last few are a little bit difficult just a little bit challenging if it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you so you have to choose weights that are a little bit challenging so the last few repetitions whether he does 10 or 15 maybe 12 but the last few have to be a little bit challenging so he is taking his time he’s controlling the weights especially the down the descent he’s not throwing them around and he is really engaging the muscles of not only his chest but his shoulders and his triceps as well it’s why the bench press is such a great exercise works three different muscle groups at the same time so there you go 10 to 15 repetitions choose a weight that is challenging but that you can control and put that bench at a slight incline that’s going to work your muscles in just a little bit of a different way and that’s going to keep you getting results and there you have it bench press at an incline for beginners to get weekly videos with workouts fitness tips and more subscribe to our channel by clicking on the subscribe button
