May 25—CAVALIER COUNTY—A Rugby, North Dakota man charged with multiple counts of felony sexual imposition in Cavalier County has changed his plea.

Travis Scott Gramm, 44, had a pretrial conference on Thursday, May 25. Gramm reversed his guilty plea and entered Alford’s guilty pleas on all four counts.

Gramm is charged with one Class AA felony felony sexual encroachment, two counts of one Class A felony felony sexual encroachment and one count of one Class B felony attempted felony sexual encroachment.

According to court documents, a minor alleges that they were “sexually abused by Travis Gramm from the age of five to seven.”

If the court accepts the proposed plea deal, Gramm would be sentenced to 25 years in prison with a five-year suspension.

After his release, Gramm would be on supervised probation for five years. The conditions of her probation would include having no contact with the victim or any of her family members.

Gramm’s sentencing is scheduled for August 24.
