2016 Master Qualifier event three is as many rounds and repetitions as possible in 15 minutes of 55 double-unders, 15 chest-to-bar pull-ups and 5 hang power cleans. The men’s weight for this workout is 155 pounds, and the women’s weight is 105 pounds. At the call of “3, 2, 1 … go!” the athlete begins their double-unders. For every repetition of the double-under, the rope must pass forwards around the athlete’s body twice. Upon completion of the 55 double-unders, the athlete will then perform 15 chest-to-bar pull-ups. Any grip of style of pull-up is permitted as long as the repetition starts with the arms fully extended and finishes with the athlete clearly making contact with the bar below the collarbone. Once finished with the pull-ups, the athlete picks up the barbell for 5 hang power cleans. Every repetition of the clean starts with the weight in the hang position and finishes when the hips and knees reach full extension with the bar racked on the shoulders. The elbows must be in front of the barbell when viewed from profile. Your score is the total number of repetitions completed within the 15 minutes. Complete details of the workout and movements can be found in the downloadable PDF event description and score card.
