Running 2 Miles EVERY SINGLE DAY (this killed me) | WEIGHT LOSS MOTIVATION

I ran two miles every day for one week
though it wasn’t easy it wasn’t completely foreign to me I ran two half
marathons in high school ran in cross-country and I lost 40 pounds
because of it I never felt more confident I always knew that running had
so many benefits and I always used running as a jumpstart to my fitness
journey it happened again in college I lost 40 pounds and felt on top of the
world as a long-distance runner I felt strong and beautiful I decided to
do this one-week challenge because I knew that in order to feel happy and
strong again it requires three things getting started Nike had it right you
gotta just do it two, staying consistent and thirdly trusting the process knowing
and believing that it does take time and changes will happen as long as you
believe in yourself I was not ready so I’m back with day 3 and I just changed got back from work from a 10-hour shift and I’m
pretty tired but we’re gonna get er done officially finished my workout and
I am dead progress is progress my friends the truth is real changes take a
lot of time even though it’s only been three days you don’t understand I’ve
been struggling to start I was thinking during my run today I’m going faster than I would have been if I would have stayed on the couch I have done it I can
definitely do it again because the hardest part really is or
getting started and staying consistent that has been my struggle…always it’s a
lifestyle and that’s kind of a point if you fall
off track like we all do you can always get back into it no one is stopping you
but yourself and that’s something I’m currently learning and have learned
many times in the past so today’s workout is done until tomorrow I feel the struggle right now alas do not fear alas do not fret
although it is day four and I do not want to do this workout I am
getting my butt to the gym because I committed to this I’m gonna stop
procrastinating and actually go run see you soon so it actually
looks like the treadmills are being used right now since the apartments at my gym do not have enough cardio equipment I know myself and if I don’t get this run done
right now I’m not gonna get it done today so I’m just gonna make myself do
it right now outside in this freezing cold so of course
Just My Luck I totally fell while running because obviously it’s not safe
to run at night especially in this like park where there’s tree roots everywhere
my ankle is throbbing and I only completed a mile today I know myself in
the past I would push myself to keep running which I actually did for like
almost a quarter-mile I’m gonna walk home and ice my ankle because it’s more
important to me to have a healthy body then to push my body past its own limits
I always tell people that you should push yourself and trust me I’m
the queen of pushing myself a little bit too far okay so I’m here to tell you
listen to your body it’s so important to listen to your body and to take a break
when you need it and to rest and recover and that is what I’m gonna do today

  7. Iโ€™ve run 2 marathons, 15 or so half marathons, and numerous other distances. I hate running, but I love food. Iโ€™m always happiest with my body when Iโ€™m training.

  8. Girl, you are such an inspo! You're so right – the toughest parts are getting started and being consistent. That's definitely my biggest struggle. I can always talk myself out of a workout. I really, really want to get better about it.

  10. This is so inspiring! I can't believe how you lost 40lbs just from running! Running has always been really uncomfortable for me due to having large boobs but Im having a reduction next week so I think once I'm all healed I'm gonna try to take up running in the spring!
