Crossfit is a good exercise program that helps
you enhance yourself mentally and physically. It helps relive a lot of stress and anything that’s
going on inside your mind or whatever. It helps you release all that tension that way you can go get a good workout,
a good, full workout, and you can get back to work and free your mind. It’s something new every day. It’s a total body workout. It’s basically a system to where you’re not just focusing on chest, you’re not
focusing on legs, you’re not focusing on your core. It encompasses everything. A lot of cardio, a lot of psychical fitness strength and it does it in such a
way that you’re constantly changing the exercises so you don’t get bored with one exercise. It’s not routine at all. At first I hated it a little bit but once I
got into it, I became a fanatic of it. Once you do it on a daily routine you become used to it.
You become into like a daily repetition for it. And it’s nice. At first your body feels very, very sore and
you can’t do anything. It’s ridiculous. Your legs hurt, your arms hurt, you can’t bend, you can’t sit in you
car… And then after a while you start to be able to. Everybody’s improved their overall fitness tremendously. Those individuals that had struggled with their weight, hadn’t really been introduced to physical
fitness that much in the past – they’ve got their arms around it. They’ve really embraced it. Those are some of our most eager
guys and gals that are doing Crossfit now. They’re enjoying it and we like seeing the success too. When I first got to this unit I was 238 pounds. I mean I
wasn’t really big or fat or anything like that – I was muscular. But once I started Crossfit and started working into the routines and doing the
program and everything, I dropped all the way down to 209 pounds. Which I haven’t been 209 in six, seven years. And
that’s a really big accomplishment for me. Crossfit’s definitely changed how I feel, how I work, even around my home – how I play with my kids, how I
interact with my wife. Just being this physically fit this much has definitely changed me in a lot of ways. Crossfit’s definitely changed how I feel, how I work, even around my home – how I play with my kids, how I

program and the last weigh in we had none. So right now at a unit with 70 people, counting 20 reserves, we

be. I’m still falling behind in the time. Come back in 12 months and see where I’m at and I
think that’s going to be a lot more impressive.
